dangerousNEGRO: "Death of Auto-Coon"

Recently, hip-hop mogul Jay-Z released a single entitled “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune),” in which he calls out rappers for following the recent trend of using Auto-Tune to improve their voices. He notes that while their voices are sounding better, their rhymes are sounding worse, in so many words. One of my favorite lines from the track is this:

I know we facin’ a recession, but the music y’all makin’ gon’ make it the Great Depression.

And that’s why Jay-Z is Jay-Z. He tells it like it is.

Recently, however, I saw something that was inspired by this song, and I immediately fell in love with the new product. The clothing maker dangerousNEGRO, which specializes in creating “Black Empowerment Apparel,” made a new T-shirt called “Death of Auto-Coon,” which is pictured above.
