Meet David

Welcome! Since you’ve made it to the site, I assume you fall into one of two categories:

  1. You know me, and you want to see what I’m talking about.
  2. You don’t know me, and you want to find out who I am… and you also want to see what I’m talking about.

If you fall into the first category, then you can go straight to my blog and check out what’s on my mind these days.

If you fall into the second category, however, let me take this time to tell you a little bit about myself. Along with being the owner of this website, I am:

  • the managing editor at the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C.
  • a graduate of the University of Virginia (UVa), class of 2010
    • B.A., English, African American & African Studies
  • the former editor-in-chief and co-founder of switch., a student publication at UVa
  • a two-time Jeopardy! contestant, winning a total of $35,000
    • “Back to School Week” – October 3, 2000
    • “Kids Week Reunion” – September 19, 2008
  • a gospel/jazz/R&B/classical pianist and keyboardist, and have been since the age of 5
  • a die-hard fan of the L.A. Lakers and the Pittsburgh Steelers
  • all about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Find out more by connecting with me on Facebook and Twitter. For everyone in the work world, you can also find me on LinkedIn.

And if you’re old-school, my e-mail address is dhudson427@gmail.com.
